Hidden Message Image Creator
Hide coordinates, words, or clues inside an ordinary-looking image, then reveal the hidden ink with image filters. Unlike standard pixel-bit steganography, this makes visual clues that a solver can uncover by adjusting image channels and contrast.

Low strength hides better; high strength is easier to reveal.
Red-channel ink works by placing slightly different red values into a grayscale photo. Solvers can reveal it with a red-versus-green filter.

How the hidden messages work
- Choose a background picture and type a clue.
- Choose red, blue, micro-pattern or faint contrast ink.
- Create your image, test that it can be revealed, then save the PNG.
- Give other geocachers the image and an optional hint such as “look through the red channel.”
Important: Channel-based modes intentionally convert the background to grayscale to make the hidden ink reliably recoverable. Faint contrast keeps the image in colour, but may be more difficult to reveal on busy photos. This is a visual puzzle effect, not encryption. Keep the exported PNG unchanged — screenshots, social media uploads and JPG compression can change the pixels and destroy clues.
For arbitrary images, red/blue filter results may contain image details rather than actual hidden writing. Auto-check ranks likely methods, but cannot promise to discover every steganography technique. Your images and messages are processed locally in the browser.
